IN GENERAL
1. A student must be present on the opening and closing day of each term,
reopening day after vacation, breaks and holidays. Otherwise, he/she
will be treated as "ABSENT" whatsoever may be the reason.
2. A student must be present on all the School Function Otherwise, he/she
will be treated as "ABSENT", whatsover may be the reason.
3. Respected absence without sanctioned leave or unexplained absence from
school for 15 days in succession without any prior intimation to school or
approval from school will render the student the student liable to have
his/her name struck off from the school rolls. For continuation in the
school, he / she has to take readmission.
4. A child returning to school after suffering from a contagicus disease or
an infection should prrouce a doctor's certificate permitting him/her to
attend the school. Students suffering from the following diseases should
observe the prescribed period of quarantine before returning to their
classes or for appearing in any examination or test :
Chicken Pox : Till complete falling of scabs
Cholera : Till the child has completely recovered
Measles : Two weeks after the rash disappears
Mumps : Untill the swelling has gone (about one month)
Whooping Cough : Six weeks
RULES FOR ATTENDANCE
1. A child must put in the minimum attendance of 75% in an academic year.
2. A student with attendance less then 75% will not be granted promotion
to next higher class. irrespective of his/her academic performances.
3. No leave of absence is granted except on Prior written application from
parents and even then for plausible reasons only.
4. In case of absence due to sudden sickness or emergences, he leave
application from the parent must be submitted on the day of joining the
school.
5. For sanction of leave of absence on medical grounds, the parent must
intimate the Principal's Office immediately and must submit Medical
Certificate of Sickness. A medical certificate of fitness should be submitted
on the date of joining. Medical certificates from registered medical
practitioner (RMP) or doctors of Government Hospitals will only be
accepted.
6. Leave of absence on medical grounds such as cough. Cold and fever etc.
will not be granted.
7. Leave of absence on grounds of attending social functions and family
functions will not be granted.
RULES FOR CONDONING SHORTAGE OF ATTENDANCE
(As per CBSE guidelines)
1. Shortage of attendance up to 15% may be condoned only in exceptional
circumstances created on medical grounds which require long period of
hospitalization.
2. The following also may be condidered valid reason for condoning shortage
of attendance.
a. Prolonged illness
b. Loss of father/mother or some other such incident leading to student's
absence from the school and meriting special cinsideration and any other
reason of similar serious nature.
c. Authorized participation in school sponsored external competitions/
examinations/meets etc.
ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATES / DOCUMENTS
1. Parents must apply in writting for issuance of Birth/Syudy/Fee/
Conduct/School leaving certificate (SLC) or any other type certificates
from school. No application from students will be entertained.
2. Such certificates will be issued after two days from receipt of the
application.
3. Certificates will be issued only to the parents/local guardian authorized
by parent in writting.
4. Progress Report Cards will be issued only on stipulated date/time
5. Progress reports cards will be issued to parents/local guardian authorized
by parents, neither to students nor anybody else.
6. For class X documents related to board examination, mark sheels pass
certificates etc will be issued to concerned students as their written
acknowledgements in various records are required by the board.
7. Issuance of SLC/Pass certificate/Mark sheet is subjected to clearances of
dues from all the departments including accounts.
